Lagos has a coastline of 171km, which is 18% of the Nation's coastline of 963km. Over the years, coastal erosion poses threats to stakeholders and various sectors of the economy especially tourism which has been described as the world’s largest industry. In the last five years, Lagos State government has achieved tremendous efforts in reducing the effect of coastal erosion. COASTAL EROSION AND LAGOS COASTLINE: RECLAIMING LOST BEACHES is a documentary of the progress the State Government has made in combating the effects of coastal erosion and return tourism back to the lost beaches.
